Gay Palm Springs Artist, Michael Weems, made a surprise discovery when he purchased an antique picture frame, "I brought it home and didn't do anything for two years. Then one day I took it out of the garage and removed the back off of it and all this vintage pornography fell out of the picture frame. I couldn't believe it. It literally fell into my lap!" With that surprise discovery, a cheeky multi-media art series was born. A hit with the gay community, tourists, grandmothers, millennials and everyone in between, including a porn producer using one of the images as inspiration for a film. But, vintage gay porn dishes are just a sample of Michael’s very eclectic collection. From architectural photography, to sassy housewares, fragrance, sculptures and even naughty school supplies.
